Leadership of business units with full P&L responsibility of up to €25 million, as well as international sales and organisational structures. Decisive in contested situations, a resilient negotiator at management level who builds workable solutions where interests diverge. Accompanied two company sales as part of the negotiating team; most recently, as managing director, established a company's readiness for sale.
Wholesale, approx. 10 employees. Overall responsibility for strategy, organisation, sales, purchasing and finance. Structural realignment, digitalisation of core processes, earnings stabilisation in a declining market.
Logistics and material handling, 300 employees, €35 million revenue. Rebuilt inside and field sales, an international sales concept, and new pricing and terms models.
Mechanical engineering, PE-owned group, 180 employees. Led the largest business unit with P&L responsibility of around €25 million, managing the subsidiaries in Poland and the United Kingdom, dealer development in Mexico and market research in the USA. Contributed to the group's growth from €21 to €42 million with stable EBIT. Accompanied two company sales as one of five executives on the negotiating team.
Restructured the marketing department, advanced the product portfolio, built a B2C online shop, and led business development for international key accounts.
Built the product management function, handled trademark and patent matters, standardised contract and tender processes, and served as interim manager of a manufacturing site with around 40 employees.
Industrial batteries, 2,000 employees. Product responsibility for the group's largest product line, international project and OEM responsibility, and the market introduction of a new battery technology in Europe.
Commercial apprenticeship (Industriekaufmann, IHK), followed by international marketing.
Honorary management of the association that operates Brilon airfield; previously two years as managing director for finance. Responsible for operations, financial planning and cooperation with aviation authorities, the municipality and regional partners.
